without discrimination.Job Summary: Ensure accurate and timely
issuance of financial statements for all Hawaiian and Pacific
Islands units. Manage external and internal audits. Ensure timely
issuance of audit report. Supervise accounting staff.ESSENTIAL
FUNCTIONS:
- Oversee Finance Department, including but not limited to:
- Supervising Accounting Manager and Grant and Contract Finance
Manager by answering questions promptly and accurately, solving day
to day issues, assist with training, etc.
- Maintain the chart of accounts
- Review month end closing packets promptly, including financial
statements & variance reports, for completeness and accuracy
- Manage internal & external audits, including by not limited to:
- Being primary liaison to external and internal auditors
- Preparing annual audit schedules and reports with accounting
staff
- Ensure timely & efficient responses to auditors and timely
issuance of audit report
- Implement financial policies and procedures as determined by
Territorial and Divisional Headquarters for all areas of accounting
and financial reporting
- Maintain appropriate internal audit control safeguards over
accounting functions
- Prepare regular Divisional & Territorial Headquarters
inter-company level consolidated financial statements and
reconciliations
- Work with Divisional Donor Data Management Director to maintain
portfolio fund codes and accounting system integration
- Monitoring cash flow
- Assist the Divisional Finance Director in other tasks as needed
to ensure timely and accurate financial reporting and an
efficiently operating finance department
- Interact with other TSA departments and staff as neededOTHER

- Bachelor's degree in accounting
- Minimum of 7 years of prior experience in accounting and
reconciliations and 4-5 years of supervisory experience
- Proficient in Excel and Word and computerized accounting
software
- Direct experience with external audits
