ABOUT THE JOB:
Develops and controls all tasks necessary to accomplish the
organization's US payroll processing objectives, including
relationships with internal and external auditors, state and
federal agencies.
Manage US payroll strategy, planning, communications and marketing
the payroll functions and related services.
Manage the overall US payroll functions including, payroll
processing, payroll taxes, reviewing and revising policies and
procedures, internal controls, system review and upgrade. Maintains
necessary vendor relationships and compliance.
WHAT YOU'LL DO:
Monitor US payroll systems and conducts periodic audits of system
to ensure compliance.
Serve as key liaison between the human resources and finance
department to maintain accurate employee payroll information.
Research new payroll regulations and develops, implement and
recommend new or modified policies as necessary.
Coordinate with appropriate agencies and departments on a regular
basis to ensure compliance with all regulatory reporting
requirements. Ensure that quarterly, annual reporting and employee
tax documents are completed on a timely basis.
Ensure payroll systems integrity and compliance.
Conduct needs assessment, develop training curriculum and conduct
training sessions on various Payroll topics.
Recommend changes in methods or procedures to improve the
efficiency of the payroll function.
Maintain knowledge of industry trends and employment legislation
and ensures compliance with agencies legislation regarding
employment and employee matters.
Manage the planning, organization and controls for a major
functional area or department.
May be responsible for a mix of direct and matrix reports; this
includes recruitment, selection, mentorship, promotion,
advancement, corrective action and termination.
Lead by example and models behaviors that are consistent with the
company's values.
WHAT YOU'LL NEED:
Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United
States without the need for visa sponsorship now or in the
future.
Bachelor's degree (BA/BS) from four-year college or university
10+ years of related experience and training
CPP required.
ADP EV5 or EV6 experience

CBRE carefully considers multiple factors to determine
compensation, including a candidate's education, training, and
experience. The minimum salary for the Payroll Director position is
$180,000.00 annually and the maximum salary for the Payroll
Director position is $225,000.00 annually. The compensation that is
offered to a successful candidate will depend on the candidate's
skills, qualifications, and experience.
