Senior Staff Accountant

Job Description:

A company is looking for a Senior Staff Accountant.
Key Responsibilities:

Routine SG&A Analysis, Journal Entry Preparations, and support documentation
Governmental Reporting and SOX Controls
Month end closing activities and account reconciliations

Required Qualifications:

BA degree + 4 years' experience or AA degree + 6 years' experience in accounting or finance
Strong analytical skills and ability to research and correct accounting issues
Excellent computer skills in Excel and experience with SAP or another Tier 1 ERP
Strong project and people management, interpersonal, and communication skills
Fundamental understanding of GAAP or IFRS, preferably with a CPA or similar accounting certification
