Ideal candidates will bring experience in complex multi-entity structures, shared services modeling, and long-term capital and compliance planning. This is a key role for a values-driven leader ready to shape financial systems that sustain impact.

Key Responsibilities:

Financial Oversight & Governance:

• 
  
• Unify and present consolidated financial reporting and dashboards for HPF and its subsidiaries.
  
• Lead budgeting, forecasting, and board financial presentations; ensure alignment with GAAP, 8(a), and nonprofit standards.
  
• Manage and support internal and external audits across entities.
  
  
  Investment Strategy & Performance:

  • Analyze, monitor, and improve HPF's blended MWRR (money-weighted rate of return) across all investment accounts.
    
  • Develop strategic investment recommendations that support endowment growth and community reinvestment goals.
    
  • Present performance trends and capital allocation strategies to the board.
    Qualifications Required Qualifications:
    
    • 
      
    • 10+ years of experience in finance, investment strategy, or operations leadership.
      
    • Proven success leading budgeting and forecasting cycles in multi-entity or complex organizational environments.
      
    • Strong background in financial modeling, cost analysis, and strategic resource planning.
      
    • Experience implementing and managing lean financial systems, performance-based budgeting, or zero-based budgeting frameworks.
      
    • Demonstrated operational management skills, including process improvement, cross-functional collaboration, and systems integration.
      
    • Expertise in investment strategy and oversight, including endowment fund management and reporting to boards or investment committees.
      
    • Ability to manage enterprise-level audits and regulatory compliance (GAAP, 8(a), nonprofit, and government contracting standards).
      
    • History of presenting to and advising boards, executive teams, or governance committees.
      
    • High integrity, strong business acumen, and ability to operate independently with executive-level judgment.
      
    • Must be able to work in person in the Honolulu Metropolitan area
      
    • Requires 5 years of organizational finance and investment experience
