Accountant to the Honolulu Team of Full-Time Engagement
Professionals. We are looking for a detail-oriented Staff
Accountant to join our team in Honolulu, Hawaii. This role is
perfect for someone who thrives in a structured environment and
enjoys working with financial records and reports. You will play a
key role in maintaining accurate financial information and ensuring
compliance with accounting standards. Robert Half Full-Time

responsibilities through ever-changing demands and new situations,
projects, and business challenges. Preference will be given to
applicants currently residing in Hawaii due to the nature of the
job requirements. Responsibilities: • Prepare and post journal
entries to ensure accurate financial recordkeeping. • Maintain and
reconcile the general ledger to support accurate financial
reporting. • Manage accounts payable (AP) processes, including
invoice review and payment scheduling. • Handle accounts receivable
(AR) tasks, such as tracking payments and resolving discrepancies.
• Calculate and record accruals to align financial statements with
accounting principles. • Assist in month-end close processes,
including preparing reports and reviewing entries. • Perform bank
account reconciliations to verify balances and identify
discrepancies. • Proven experience in preparing journal entries and
maintaining financial records. • Strong knowledge of general ledger
functions and reconciliation processes. • Familiarity with accounts
payable (AP) and accounts receivable (AR) operations. • Ability to
calculate and record accruals accurately and efficiently. •
Experience in month-end close procedures and financial reporting. •
Proficiency in performing bank account reconciliations. • Excellent
attention to detail and organizational skills.
