Job Description:

Job Summary:

Receives, greets, and directs customers and visitors to the appropriate place or employee and answers general questions. Issues control badges as required; records visitors' arrival and departures. May check employee identification and will perform incidental clerical duties. Will have responsibility for voice mail and some faxing and will utilize a personal computer to perform certain duties.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

* Responsible for answering and directing incoming telephone calls
* Greet and direct walk-in customers and visitors and advise the appropriate individual of their arrival
* Sort and distribute all incoming mail and deliveries daily
* Ensure all visitors and vendors comply with QTC's Security Policy and Procedures
* Assist Human Resources with job applicants, Health & Wellness Events and Employee Discount Program
* Assist with charitable drives
* Input Customer Feedback Cards into database
* Train reception relief support staff and maintain roster
* Other projects and duties as assigned

Competencies:

* Prior scheduling experience
* Ability to effectively manage competing priorities
* Knowledge of Microsoft office software, Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint also SharePoint
* Ability to effectively manage high incoming call volume

Education and/or Experience: (includes certificate & licenses)

* Must be able to successfully pass National Agency Check with Inquiries (NACI) background investigation

* 3 - 5 years: Experience as a Receptionist (in a high call volume environment)
