Job Description:
A local company based in Kailua is seeking a motivated, organized, driven professional with a positive disposition as a full-time Project Assistant to start ASAP.This is fast pace, positive environment. Strong communication skills are essential. Duties include participating in design specifications management, quote requests to vendors, processing of purchase orders, maintaining vendor records, tracking product shipments, maintaining tracking reports, preparing warranty, care and maintenance manuals and dealing with warranty issues.
Duties:* Assist in procurement related activities including but not limited to specification management, pricing, budget development.* Issue requests for quotation (RFQ's) to vendors for both project and individual sales leads.* Review quotes for accuracy of pricing and pertinent information.* Prepare and issue purchase orders.* Tracking of finish samples, shop drawings and CFA submittals for approval.* Respond to customer and supplier inquiries about order status, changes, or cancellations.* Track the status of requisitions, contracts, and orders.* Liaison with suppliers in order to coordinate deliveries and to resolve shortages, missed or late deliveries, and other unforeseen issues.* Facilitate all warranty related issues includes working with vendors and manufacturers to receive replacement goods/materials.
No relocation, per diem is offered.
