POSITION PURPOSE

The Ecommerce Web Designer is assigned to work closely with Ecommerce Director and Webmaster to design, implement and maintain webpages for all PCC websites. - Web Programming and Graphic design are minimal requirements for this position.


ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

Work closely with Digital Team to create, update and maintain web pages for all PCC websites.

Edit website content, debug code and redesign web pages.

Perform HTML, CSS and JavaScript updates to existing web pages via a Content Management System (CMS)

Assist in creating HTML emails for digital marketing purposes.

Assist in the creation and optimization of graphical assets and other elements for all websites.

Attends coordination/information meetings and all scheduled training sessions, department, division and company-wide meetings.

Perform other job duties as assigned by Digital Commerce Team


JOB QUALIFICATIONS/EXPERIENCE/SKILLS

Must have a BS in information systems/information technology.

Practical experience in coding HTML, CSS and JavaScript is required. - Other programming experience(s) a plus.

Must be proficient with Web authoring tools - Dreamweaver and or equivalent

Must have familiarity with graphic programs such as Photoshop or equivalent.

Must have at least one-year experience working with Content Management Systems (CMS).

Self-motivated with strong self-management skills.

Ability to organize and manage multiple priorities.

Must be fluent in English.

Must have effective oral and written communication skills.

Work well with others.


WORKING CONDITIONS/PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

Work is normally performed indoors in and air-conditioned environment but may occasionally work in an open-air environment.

Job hazards are minimal due to the nature of the job.

Uses a personal computer, other office machines and equipment, various types of office supplies and a variety of writing instruments.

Must be able to sit at a computer for long periods of time.
