Manager/Director, who will report to the Vice-President of Lexmark
Ventures. Together, we provide solutions for a variety of
challenges faced in industries of all sizes, from small businesses
to those of the Fortune 500. The Marketing Manager/director will be
responsible for all marketing activities in the Ventures
organization.Roles & Responsibilities:Drive Marketing through the
entire cycle of creating brand awareness, interest, intent, belief,
leading to customer/partner acquisition.Develop a strategy and plan
for marketing including positioning and placement - to support the
various offerings in Ventures' portfolioSome products are targeted
as the consumer market, some at the industrial B2b marketThe
products are at various stages in their lifecycles; some have been
launchedin 2021-early 2022, some will launch in 2023.Design and
drive:Lead generation and Account-based Marketing (ABM)Ability to
drive lead generation to acquire channel partners and end
customers.Digital marketing, paid search (google ads, etc.),
working with agencies - for offerings targeting the consumer (e.G.,
hair straightening hot tool) marketLead brand awareness
campaignsWebsites, SEO, social media strategy, email campaigns,
printed collateralCampaigns to drive lead generation through
webinars, blogs, events. Manage CRM system and marketing
automationPaid search - google ads, Microsoft (Bing) ads.Paid
Social platforms Facebook Ads (includes Instagram), LinkedIn Ads,
TikTok Ads, Pinterest Ads. Also, AmazonGet on the editorial
calendars of major industry magazines for article and ad
insertionsMessaging based on audience segmentationCollateral
creationDevelop high level relationships with all key channel
management stakeholders. Create awareness, negotiate terms and
programs with all channelsWork with the Executive Management team
to help define the e-commerce strategyDevelop business plan and
annual budget for ecommerce function. Supervise development efforts
including content design and updatesImprove, develop, and advocate
new promotional opportunities for Ventures' productsOversee the
day-to-day ecommerce operations, maintenance, and performance
measurement of the company websiteSupport the supply chain
department on forecasting of productsAnalyze performance and
optimize all aspects of site experience to improve results
(including SEO, Search, Desktop & Mobile UX, Comparison Shopping
Engines, Retargeting, Reviews)Execute the Marketing plan using a
core team of marketing folks as well as third-party resources
(website developer, technical writer, marketing firm that helps
with positioning and branding, digital agency). The Marketing
Manager/Director must work with Lexmark's "core" Marketing team
(that supports the printer business) to follow brand and other
guidelines, as well as to leverage their expertise, where
appropriate.Qualities desired in a successful candidate:The
successful applicant will be able to demonstrate:A track record of
getting things done in a fast-paced environment, with limited
resources - while using internal and external (third-party) helpThe
ability to help shape the go-to-market strategy for consumer and
industrial products targeting disparate markets - then create a
Marketing strategy and plan in support of the go-to-market
approachExperience in working with channel partners, resellers and
distributors for lead generation and account-based
marketingExperience in working with media, marketing, and ad
agenciesCoordinating marketing initiatives from beginning to
endQualifications:At least 7-10 years of marketing leadership
experienceOmni-channel digital marketerB.S./ B.A. with 5+ years of
experience in product marketing and product management roles
building and launching successful web and/or mobile
productsExperienced in analyzing data to draw business-relevant
conclusionsExperience in developing digital marketing strategies
for direct and indirect channel programsAbility to craft clear,
compelling recommendations supported by robust analysis and
business logic, and articulate them to the organization to gain
support for the recommendationAbility to lead by influencing
others, especially in cross-functional and executive
settingsComfort with change and ability to wear multiple hats as
part of an evolving organizationKeyword searches, optimized web
content, competitive tracking software, customer data analytics,
web page design/layout, and website performance
measurementCandidates required experience with CRM and marketing
automation tools, lead gen campaigns, digital marketing.Drive test
and learn mindset for continuous improvement and innovationThe
atmosphere is akin to a start-up, i.E., the role requires agility
and speed, creativity, and getting things done with limited
resources. The commercial success of the various products depends
heavily on the output of the Marketing team.Remote or in Lexington,
