Job Title: Irrigation Technician Department: Operations POSITION SUMMARY Performs a variety of duties as a member of a team building beautiful landscapes for our clients with economical and efficient water delivery systems. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Install and maintain irrigation systems for residential and commercial properties. Perform routine maintenance on irrigation systems, including checking for leaks, adjusting sprinkler heads, and replacing damaged components. Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair irrigation system issues, including electrical and hydraulic problems Provide recommendations for system upgrades and improvements. Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and guidelines. Testing the soil and vegetation to determine irrigation needs. Mapping out irrigation areas, digging trenches, installing equipment, testing the system with the aid of computer software, and conducting regular maintenance checks. Keep accurate progress records of work performed and all materials used per project. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS Education and Experience: High school diploma or equivalent is desired 1 years of experience in irrigation system installation and maintenance Strong knowledge of irrigation system components and operation Ability to diagnose and repair electrical and hydraulic issues Excellent communication and customer service skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team Valid driver's license and reliable transportation WORK HOURS AND BENEFITS Work days are Monday through Friday, 7:30AM to 4:00PM; Some Saturdays(Optional) Medical, Dental, Vision insurance PTO(Paid Time Off for vacation/sick) Most Holidays off Start at $25 Depending on experience ADDITIONAL INFORMATION This job description in no way states or implies that these are the only duties to be performed by the employee filling this position.
