Summary of Role:
SunPower Corporation is seeking a Staff Engineer to design, develop and deliver software for Dealer Portal. This role will report to the SunPower Engineering Software Development Manager.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

• 
  Responsible for designing and developing software solutions using Angular and Salesforce to meet end-to-end process requirements to support Dealer Portal for Order Management
  
  
• 
  Help shape the front-end architecture and institute best practices, drive standards, quality, scalability, and performance.
  
  
• 
  Design and develop quality reusable components and front-end libraries.
  
  
• 
  Performing peer code reviews, providing technical implementation details, creating test classes and specs, troubleshooting, and deployment activities
  
  
• 
  Partner with the product management team and peers to clarify technical implementation and scope of the work
  
  
• 
  Perform code deployment activities and support weekly product release cycle
  
  
  Required Qualifications:
  
  • 
    
  • 
    Bachelor's degree in computer science or a related technical field OR equivalent combination of education and years of related experience
    
    
  • 
    4+ years of experience in software development and knowledge of web programming languages and frameworks: Angular, React.js , HTML5, CSS
    
    
  • 
    Understanding of object-oriented concepts, abstraction/inheritance, and common design patterns as well as experience with relational databases and datastores
    
    
  • 
    Proficient with RESTful API design, implementation, and integrating with 3rd party systems (i.e.: Salesforce, AWS S3, Salesforce, third-party APIs)
    
    
  • 
    Expert with code versioning systems (Git) and deployment pipelines (Jenkins/Circle CI)
    
    
    Preferred Qualifications:

      Experience with Datadog or other logging/monitoring platforms

      Must be a creative thinker and can recognize and solve problems by thinking outside the box.
