seeking a Network Engineer to support our USARPAC customer!Come

Hawaii! The INDOPACOM combatant command theater covers over half

- Maintain information technology (IT) networks and services used
by the organization
- Keep organization up to date with new technology; provide
feedback to the organization on potential improvements Site Subject
Matter expert on site specific telecommunication equipment (to be
learned)
- Translate business needs to develop solutions from design to
technological products
- Oversee development of projects to ensure that product is
delivered on time and to the specifications as well as the
development of future component architectures and migration
plans
- Determine technical needs such as hardware, software,
scalability and security requirements
- Coordinate design and integration of overall architecture and
parts of proposed systems Define system, technical and application
architectures of major areas of development Define system,

- Define and enforce appropriate technical standards and
procedures
- Other duties as assignedWhat we are looking for
- 2 years relevant experience with Bachelors in related field; 0
years experience with Masters in related field; or High School
Diploma or equivalent and 6 years relevant experience
- Must have experience with configuration and troubleshoot of
network switches, routers, firewalls, hubs, fiber and copper
cabling and equipment racks
- Must have capability to design complex network solutions in
uncommon environment settings while meeting all DoD policy and
customer requirements
- Must have understanding of VMware environment to include
knowledge of vSphere, Virtual SAN, Horizon View, NSX, vRealize,
SRM
- Must -have working knowledge of System and Application
protocols and how to traverse the network (ICMP, SSH, SNMP, SMTP,
LANs, WANs)
- Must be able to obtain/maintain base access credentials
- Clearance: Must possess and maintain a TS/SCI clearance -
- VMware certification preferred
- Proficiency with CISCO UCS and Hyperflex servers a plusPhysical
Requirements May require working in an office, industrial,
shipboard, or laboratory environment. Capable of climbing ladders
and tolerating confined spaces and extreme temperature variances.
