Job Description:
Duties--- You will manage an organization in compliance with the
National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA), Endangered Species Act
(ESA), Marine Mammal Protection Act (MMPA), and Coastal Zone
Management Act (CZMA) permits and agreements.--- You will review
Environmental Assessments (EA's) and Environmental Impact
Statements (EIS's) to ensure consistency with National
Environmental Policy Act (NEPA) directives.--- You will review
plans and specifications to determine permit requirements and
evaluate compliance with environmental regulatory requirements.---
You will write recommendations to resolve significant environmental
quality issues or mitigating measures.--- You will develop or
approve scopes of work for the acquisition of contractual support
requirements and monitor execution and complianceRequirements

following: 1) Preparing legally and procedurally adequate National
Environmental Policy Act (NEPA) documents (e.gEnvironmental
Assessments, Environmental Impact statements, Records of
Categorical Exclusions, special environmental planning studies); 2)
Conducting studies of potential environmental impact (e.gendangered
species, biological resources, wetlands and floodplains, air
quality, water quality, cultural resources/archaeology); 3)
Applying Coastal Zone Management Act requirements to the analysis
and evaluation of coastal programs; 4)Managing milestones for

administration and have one (1) year of work experience in
community planning acquired under the supervision and guidance of a
community plannerOR have a combination of education and experience
where courses are equivalent to a major in community planning ,

sociology, geography, economics, political science, or public
administration; or a combination of related courses totaling at
least 24 semester hours in any combination of the listed
disciplines of which at least 12 semester hours were in the
planning process, and socioeconomic and physical elements of

Qualifications Standards Manual: For the 0401 - Professional
Biological Science Series: have a degree in biological sciences,
agriculture, natural resource management, chemistry, or a related
discipline appropriate to this positionOR have a combination of
education and experience in one of the above majors that includes
at least 24 semester hours in biological sciences, agriculture,
natural resource management, chemistry, or a discipline related to
this position plus appropriate experience or additional
educationThe quality of the combination of education and experience
demonstrates that you possess the knowledge, skills, and abilities
required to perform the work of the position and is comparable to
that normally acquired through the completion of a full four year
course of study with a major as described aboveFor the 0819
Professional Environmental Engineering Series: Successful
completion of a professional engineering degreeTo be acceptable,
the program must: (1) lead to a bachelor's degree (or higher) in a
school of engineering with at least one program accredited by the
Accreditation Board for Engineering and Technology (ABET); or (2)
include differential and integral calculus and courses (more
advanced than first-year physics and chemistry) in five of the
following seven areas of engineering science or physics: (a)
statics, dynamics; (b) strength of materials (stress-strain
relationships); (c) fluid mechanics, hydraulics; (d)
thermodynamics; (e) electrical fields and circuits; (f) nature and
properties of materials (relating particle and aggregate structure
to properties); and (g) any other comparable area of fundamental
engineering science or physics, such as optics, heat transfer, soil
mechanics, or electronicsSuch education must demonstrate the
knowledge, skills, and abilities necessary to do the work of the
