Project Manager, Environmental Scientist/Engineer to work in a
technical support role with highly skilled professionals on diverse
project teams in a dynamic environment. This is an excellent

a variety of projects for a diverse range of clients. This is a
full-time position located in our Honolulu, HI or Maui, HI
office.DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIESThe successful candidate will:
- Work collaboratively on all aspects of our work in Hawai'i to
address client goals and objectives, with a primary focus on:
- Consulting support for multi-media compliance under NPDES, UIC,
Clean Water Act, State Cleanup Program (HEER Office), RCRA, and
other regulatory programs.
- Conduct facility and construction site compliance
inspections.
- Prepare proposals, project reports/deliverables, and regulatory
compliance submissions.
- Have a minimum of five years of experience with State of
Hawai'i regulatory programs.
- Have experience conducting site investigations to delineate the
extent of contamination in soil, sediment, groundwater, surface
water, and soil gas, including Phase I/Phase II environmental
assessments.
- Be capable of fully managing financial, technical, and
regulatory aspects of projects.
- Execute projects to meet technical, quality, budgetary, and
scheduling requirements.
- Demonstrate very strong verbal communications and written
skills including client and regulatory deliverables.
- Be effective in assigning and managing work.
- Demonstrate strong coaching and mentoring skills to junior
level staff.
- Possess skills in quality control, planning, cost estimating,
and scheduling.
- Direct environmental field observation and testing
programs.
- Develop a working understanding of H&A's other consulting
practice areas and actively support marketing other services to
existing clients.
- Perform all work in accordance with company and client Health &
Safety protocols.
- Be able to travel inter-island on a periodic
basis.SKILLS/EXPERIENCE
- Minimum of Bachelor of Science in civil or environmental
engineering, geology/hydrogeology, environmental science, or
related field; Master's degree desired.
- Minimum of 8-10 years of experience in environmental compliance
and/or investigation/remediation.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to technical
details.
- Strong computer literacy skills including Microsoft Word,
Excel, PowerPoint, and Adobe or Blue Beam.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Must be
proficient at writing, reviewing, and editing technical reports to
meet scope and quality objectives and client expectations.
- OSHA 40-Hour HAZWOPER training and refresher updates preferred;
strong personal commitment to safety.
- Ability to comply with the Guiding Principles and Code of

for this position in Honolulu, HI or Maui, HI is $105,000 -
$115,000 annually. Actual compensation will be based upon a variety
of factors such as education, related work experience,
certificates, skills, and current market conditions. Haley &
