Our mission is to connect the world privately.To help us accomplish this, the WhatsApp Marketing team is seeking a Marketing Strategy & Operations lead (MS&O) to lead strategic initiatives and operations of the global marketing function for WhatsApp. You will drive a variety of work streams to deliver org-wide strategic impact, e.g. by improving org-wide integration and coordination, or improving organizational effectiveness and/or operational efficiencies. The MS&O lead should be someone who is passionate about technology and marketing and has exceptional leadership, analytical, organizational and communication skills. You must be able to succeed in a fast-paced, often-ambiguous, often-changing environment and be able to thrive in and work with cross- functional teams. This is a full-time position reporting into the Head of Marketing at WhatsApp. Required Skills: Become a trusted advisor and thought partner to the head of marketing and marketing leadership team at WhatsApp. Lead and improve overall planning processes including headcount and budget allocation. Set best practices for establishing goals, knowledge sharing and continuous learning across WhatsApp and WhatsApp marketing. Lead projects to optimize organizational health, scale the organization and build team culture. Manage WA marketing information cadences and processes, including internal communications (Q&A, All-Hands, posts or email updates), business updates (business reviews, bi-annual management team updates, etc.), executive meetings. Collaborate with partner organizations including cross-functional teams on cross-organizational projects and alignment opportunities (this includes helping structure and drive best practice sharing and implications across marketing functional disciplines, for example how we're handling goaling and measurement across apps). Build investment cases to land annual plan and resource asks. Define and track organization-level goals and OKRs, and manage intra-quarter pivots. Communicate up/down/across org to ensure transparency and alignment. Drive operational excellence into the organization through identification and execution of opportunity areas that create efficiency, remove obstacles, or improve processes. Foster relationships and work with cross-functional partners to understand their needs and ideas on how to better collaborate. Own or support ad-hoc strategic projects, requests and/or analysis, as needed, e.g., developing a POV on privacy and trust related topics. Minimum Qualifications: 6+ years marketing, project management, finance/investment banking and/or strategy consulting experience Experience building presentations in PowerPoint, Keynote, and/or Google Slides and compiling clear, concise briefing materials Experience with project management, communication and decision-making, executive presence and experience influencing senior stakeholders Equal Opportunity: Facebook is proud to be an Equal Opportunity and Affirmative Action employer.
