Join our 'ohana -and be a part of an exciting team of professionals dedicated to serving our -kama'--ina -and introducing our islands to the world!Position SummaryReporting to the Managing Director this position is responsible for developing business relationships with codeshare and interline partners that will help enable Hawaiian to expand its reach to a broader base of customers in domestic and international markets. This role will proactively work with stakeholders across the organization to ensure the successful implementation and optimization of the partnerships.Key Responsibilities

  • Proactively and thoughtfully identify new partnership opportunities that deliver new revenues consistent with our commercial strategy
  • Develop, implement, and direct coordinated strategic plans to maximize revenue value of current and future interline, codeshare and alliance partnerships
  • Lead and manage a team ensuring all commercial, operational, and technical aspects of interline, codeshare, SPA agreements are met and achieved
  • In collaboration with Revenue Management, Network Planning, IT, manage and develop the strategy and relationships of key airline partnerships including the negotiation of revenue sharing agreements (codeshares, SPAs etc---) and technical implementation of key agreements
  • Act as a liaison throughout the company (across Commercial, Finance, IT, and Operations divisions) to actively manage codeshare and interline partnerships, including components related to optimization of schedules, supporting a seamless passenger experience, and other partner related initiatives as they arise
  • Develop and execute new and ongoing plans for interline partnerships, that support existing and future network plans. Create and implement new interline agreements including e-ticket arrangements
  • Manage, negotiate, and implement codeshare and Joint Venture Commercial Agreements across the company. Key leader that acts as a conduit across multiple departments including ACS, Inflight, Commercial, Marketing to ensure the right standards and contractual commitments are met. Lead and coordinate the appropriate training as needed
  • Other duties as assigned or directed Requirements Minimum Requirements
    • Bachelor's Degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience
    • 5 years' experience in airline industry affairs, airline pricing/pricing operations, international airline business environment or related field
    • In depth knowledge of GDS, ATPCO and pricing systems
    • Proven success with the development of alliance partnerships strategies. Extensive understanding of global airline partnership landscape and trends environment
    • Highly analytical, logical with strong decision making and critical thinking skills
    • Strong influencing and negotiation capabilities given the need to work well on a cross functional basis driving change without having authority or direct responsibility over critical aspects of the business that directly impact the ability to succeed. Has demonstrated ability to persuade and influence senior executives across departments
    • An energetic enthusiastic team player who understands how to pull people together in reaching common objectives. Has the ability to work in a collaborative, success oriented yet caring company culture
    • An individual with a strong bias for action and the fortitude to challenge the status quo with a results-oriented sense of urgency
