Reports to: General Manager
Basic Job Function : The Director of Human Resources will oversee
all areas of Human Resources including; recruiting, salary
administration, colleague benefits, management development/training
and labor relations.
Lead and direct Human Resources functions of Training and
Development, Benefits, Labor Relations and Recruiting.
Maintain thorough and current knowledge of State and Federal
regulations and laws to ensure that the Resort is in full
Ensure concise and accurate interpretation of the union
Participate in EEO, Unemployment, Wage & Hour, Worker's
Compensation, OSHA, ADA, Immigration and Naturalization Service
hearings. Implement policies and programs to guarantee
Ensures that human resource policies are updated and communicated
to management and staff. Provides advice and interpretation
regarding human resource policies as they relate to individuals and
to Company objectives.
Serves as key change manager for initiatives that have high

Additional Duties and Responsibilities :
In addition to the performance of the essential functions, this
position may be required to perform a combination of the following
supportive functions, with the percentage of time performing each
function to be solely determined by the supervisor based upon the
particular requirements of the hotel.
Report all suspicious persons or activities and hazardous or unsafe
conditions to the Security Department.
Provide instruction and/or guidance for guest and employee safety
in fire or other emergency situations.
Respond to guest questions. Provide guest assistance, direction and
information as requested when working in public areas.
Participate in all employee relations activities.
Complete other duties as assigned by the General Manager.
