Job Description - Senior Manager, Enterprise Transformation (21027530) Senior Manager, Enterprise Transformation - 21027530 Description About Enterprise Transformation The Enterprise Transformation team identifies and executes on projects and initiatives that will improve processes that will make the company more efficient, effective, and nimble over the next few years. The Enterprise Transformation team will partner with business units and other stakeholders on several key initiatives that will enhance customer and colleague outcomes enterprise wide while reducing cost. - Description The highly visible Senior Manager is a key member of the Enterprise Transformation Team. Our ideal candidate is highly organized with exceptional communication skills and a bias towards action. You show up with passion, are a self-starter and are not afraid to challenge the status quo and thrive in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate is a highly motivated individual with strong partnership, change management, and PMO experience, who can support engagements with multiple business units across AXP with a wide array of complexities. The Manager will focus on the following key responsibilities:

  • Build strong working relationships across the team, as well as with business partner groups and senior stakeholders across the blue box to maximize collaboration, problem solving and generate solutions to deliver results.
  • Partner with workstream owners and leadership to evaluate and develop insights on opportunities, that influence to direction for all of the workstreams.
  • Apply innovative and strategic thinking to synthesize an understanding of stakeholder needs, change management, financial drivers, and partnership model opportunities into a holistic execution strategy.
  • Develop recommendations by connecting the dots between seemingly disparate conversations, workstreams, and data, and synthesizing - feedback.
  • Identify roadblocks to roadmap execution and collaborate with key stakeholders to remove those roadblocks.
  • Develop frameworks, business cases and value proposition, key metrics for success, and plans to realize stated benefits.
  • Drive delivery by creating and maintaining a comprehensive view of the end to end program plan and identifying and managing cross-workstream dependencies. Minimum Qualifications Qualifications:
    • Experience in Project Management, Business Management, or similar background is required.
    • Operate in and contribute to a team-oriented environment with strong personal accountability and commitment and integrity with respect to all aspects of the role.
    • Develop and maintain strong relationships across multiple internal customer groups and a range of leadership levels and prepare deliver high quality -presentations, internal executive updates, to showcase and leverage success.
    • Lead end-to-end change management initiatives to support long term business goal achievement.
    • Create and manage project plans, ensure that project timelines are met, and that work is done within the allotted hours/cost.
    • Creative thinking, including the ability to identify patterns and propose solutions to long-standing business problems, and ability to act as a catalyst for change.
    • Must be an outstanding analytical thinker and problem solver, comfortable working with data and able to resolve complex problems independently.
    • Strong written and verbal communication skills combined with an ability to interact effectively with senior leaders and business partners.
    • Proven ability to quickly adjust to shifting priorities, multiple demands, ambiguity, and rapid change.
    • Proven track record of successfully operating in a highly matrix environment and being able to lead and influence without direct authority.
    • Proficiency in Excel & PowerPoint, other process management tools a plus.
