minimal of 8-10 years of experience and a background in
architecture, development and / or construction in the Hospitality
industry. This individual is actively involved in the process of
development, design, and construction. Travel required. Success at
this role may allow advancement into executive leadership positions
within the HARDY organization.Management Skills and
Responsibilities:
- Must have experience in the general aspects of property
development from site identification; environmental, zoning and
municipal issues; economic strategies; project management
responsibilities including scope, budget and schedule development;
design from conceptual through construction documents; and basic
construction principals.
- Understand the project flow, sequence and procedures including
the relationships and roles of individual project team
members.
- Understand and maintain our company process to provide
consistent and timely deliverables and high-quality results for the
client.
- Track scope adherence throughout design, bidding, and
negotiation.
- Establish and track the project budget, trend log and draw
process throughout the duration of the project.
- Establish, monitor and maintain the project schedule.
- Ability to prioritize deliverables on an ongoing basis to
address time critical needs.
- Nurture and develop on-going Client relationships.
- Maintain communication with the Client and HARDY'S DOO on the
status of the project including schedule, budget, quality and
related issues. (Overlap with OPs)
- Develop new business for the company and introducing the
company to new potential clients with the local geography of the
regional office.Technical:Proficiency in computer skills as
required to perform all required responsibilities including
Microsoft Excel, Word, and Project. General understanding of the
professional practice of architects, interior designers, engineers,
and contractors. Ability to read construction drawings, plans and
