Job DescriptionThe Resort Director is responsible for the
functionality and servicing of each tower's resort operations.
Responsibilities include experience in leading the front office,
housekeeping, and engineering teams while meeting and or exceeding
all agreed-upon financial and operational goals and objectives for
the resort. This position collaborates and supports department
leaders with operational oversight of the resorts' shared services
with the Hilton Hawaiian Village Hotel including hotline/cares
line, housekeeping common areas, and 3rd party common area
agreements, as well as the hotel maintenance services, They will
establish, foster, and promote a positive work environment with
other resort leaders and hotel partners while also increasing
owner, guest, and team member satisfaction. They lead others by
exemplifying the HGV values while also inspiring independent action
and initiative:
- Ensures that a high standard of service is delivered in a
friendly and personalized manner
- Maintains a high level of visibility and contact amongst key
partners
- Monitor all systems and processes that directly impact the
guest to ensure an outstanding owner/guest experience while
maintaining all brand standards. Will include, if applicable to
designated responsibility, meeting with owners/guests to resolve
service opportunities to their satisfaction
- Follow-through on stated goals and commitments
- Effective communication with key partners and leadership
- Demonstrate role-modeling behavior through visible actions
- Exhibits direct honesty and support to team members, corporate
leaders, owners, and guests

- Develops and implements initiatives of Resort Operations for
all HGV resorts. Develops clear goals and ensures that policies and
guidance are in place to clearly define responsibilities,
processes, delegations, and decision-making powers for goal
achievement. Maintains compliance with organizational, business,
and financial regulations
- Holds accountable and manages various Department Heads,
including leading all aspects of timetables, work schedules,
management, and leadership of Team Members within the different
fields. Attends all meetings and other managerial gatherings, as
directed by Corporate Office
- Supervises HR management practices that are completed by direct
reports which include recruitment, performance management, and
corrective action in partnership with the HR Partner. Maintains
firm understanding of the established Collective Bargaining
Agreement as it relates to the supervision and performance of
HHV-VO team members
- Monitors and maintains strong SALT scores and QA Inspections.
Develops annual business strategy and performance benchmarks to
maintain outstanding service scores while identifying opportunities
for growth and developments
- Develops and oversees HOA and Operations budgets for all
towers. Provides proper allocations and forecasting data to achieve
financial sustainability and ensures effective reporting and
forecasting of results in collaboration with the Business
Management
- Assists in the development of the resort's long-term reserve
plan and coordinate the execution of approved reserve projects with
the General Manager
- Maintains relationships, contracts, compliance, and interface
issues with the operation's business supporters and suppliers to
ensure business needs and financial responsibilities are handled in
a timely manner
- Develops and nurtures a positive relationship with Sales,
Marketing, and Rental business partners
- Serves as General Manager in GM's absence
- May be required to do other duties and special projects as

qualifications and experience:
- BA/BS/Bachelor's Degree
- 3+years experience in related field
- 4+years of managerial experience
- possess and apply a comprehensive knowledge of financial
principles and statements to review and analyze financial
statuses
- Proven track record to develop, lead, and directing various
management and employee levels
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.It would be
advantageous in this position for you to demonstrate the following
capabilities and distinctions:
- Voice certified
- Experience in handling operations operating under a Collective
Bargaining Agreement (CBA)
- Guest satisfaction systems such as SALT, WEST, MEDALLIA
knowledge
- 5 to 7 years of related experience
- 6+ years in a director role
- Time Share/Vacation Ownership industry experienceWe are an
