Revenue Management Systems team leverages and shares revenue
management system knowledge across the user community, and performs
modifications and ongoing maintenance to ensure data integrity and
system reliability. This manager role will oversee all aspects of
Hawaiian's revenue management system, continuously driving
enhancements and improvements to maximize revenue, advance analyst
productivity and achieve business objectives. Key
Responsibilities
- Lead a team tasked with overseeing Hawaiian's revenue
management system (RMS), in close coordination with the Pricing &
Revenue Management community
- Serve as in-house expert on revenue management processes and
methodology standards, providing the user community with guidance
and answering questions relating to RMS capabilities,
functionality, and best practices
- Develop, deliver, and maintain new hire, recurrent and ad-hoc
training curriculum and content for the revenue management analyst
community
- Maintain relationships with IT and external vendors, leading
the rollout of system upgrades, testing, troubleshooting and
incident resolution
- Maximize system performance through data-driven analysis and
evaluation of functionality, highlighting areas for improvement and
expected benefit
- Leverage data to develop reporting and analytics on system
performance, trends, and key metrics
- Working in a coordinated effort with Director to achieve
Department goals, lead, develop, mentor and evaluate team
members
- Consistently and proactively evaluate the effectiveness of
team's strategies; reporting on results to peers and senior
leadership
- Benchmark industry developments, evaluating competitiveness and
opportunities
- Present new initiatives and build business cases for senior
leadership review
- Project manage and prioritize with business owners and IT
resources
- Actively proxies for Director in meeting with all Commercial
counterparts to monitor progress on joint projects, planning,
coordination, implementation, and analysis of actions relevant to
department and/or assigned market group entities
- Additional projects/responsibilities as assigned or
directed
- 4 years of experience in an analytical role with 18 months or
more in a Revenue Management or Pricing environment
- Expertise in revenue management concepts and data flows
- Ability to analyze performance and results of
products/initiatives and develop business cases for new product
opportunities, enhancements or improvements
- Ability to communicate effectively with customers, partners and
senior leaders
- Ability to multi-task and prioritize to meet deadlines in a
fast-moving environment
- Strong, demonstrated problem solving skills involving both
business problems and people interactions
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with
demonstrated ability to communicate information accurately,
clearly, professionally and concisely
- Ability to quickly distill trends and create multiple strategic
options based on agreed Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
- Proven strategic thinking and successful execution

- Previous experience leading airline revenue management systems
projects
- Experience in Data Visualization tools such as Tableau and
Power BI
- Working knowledge of SQL programming and reportingAbout
