  • Position Summary*The Crew Pay Service Manager leads a team responsible for designated processes, vendor management and projects impacting Crew Pay (e.g., Pilots and/ or Flight Attendant workgroups). Your Crew Pay Servicing team will deliver on commitments effectively and efficiently while meeting all existing internal and external service level agreements (SLA).
    • Key Responsibilities*
    • Ensure accurate pay to an assigned workgroup ranging from 800-2500 unionized employees; this includes review of payroll calculations and operating procedures in accordance with Company policy, union contracts and federal/state regulations
    • Train and develop a team of Crew Pay Servicing professionals and 3rd party contractors as needed
    • Understand crew pay inputs from other teams (e.g., Scheduling, Training, Flight Administration) to facilitate the development of the Crew Pay Servicing training manual
    • Serve as an escalation point for resolving issues, questions, and requests related to pay
    • Support the labor relations team by providing consultation for proposed contract changes as they relate to pay
    • Conduct trend analyses, review key processing performance metrics, and partner with business leaders to address key issues (labor expenses and associated inaccuracies)
    • Ensure the team responds to Crew Member inquiries and exceeds all established SLAs while providing excellent, consistent customer service through team briefings, updates, or other communication methods
    • Assist with user acceptance testing for new and/or modified earnings and deductions codes
    • Manage relationships with payroll system vendors and 3rd party contractors, ensuring the creation of and adherence to service level agreements (SLAs) and contract terms
    • Minimum Requirements*
    • Bachelors degree in Human Resources, Administration, Management or related field or equivalent combination of education and experience
    • Three or more years experience working with pay, timekeeping, case management or related field
    • Knowledge of federal, state, and local payroll tax principles
    • Working knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP), including Sarbanes-Oxley compliance
    • Ability to manage confidential information
    • Strong analytical abilities, including the ability to troubleshoot problems, recognize areas for process improvements and identify and communicate trends
    • Ability to prioritize, manage time and resources effectively, adapt to rapidly changing priorities and meet required deadlines
    • Excellent oral and written communication and interpersonal skills
    • Strong proficiency in Word, Excel, PowerPoint/ **All applicants are advised that post-offer and/or pre-employment drug testing will be conducted, and they must successfully pass the drug test.       • Preferred Qualifications*
      • Experience managing a team and/or a vendor
      • Professional payroll certifications such as FPC/ CPP
      • Knowledge of project management methodology and project management experience
      • Knowledge of Ultimate Kronos Group (UKG) payroll products
      • Experience with SQL and data analytics
      • Crew Pay or Scheduling experience
      • Understanding of FAA regulations and working within union rules and limitations
