Reports to: Director of Corporate Relations & Partnerships
Salary: $40,000 to $50,000 per year
Submit Application and Resume to: Human Resources, humanresources@hawaiifoodbank.org Position Summary: The Community Food Drive & Events Coordinator is a collaborative supporter and a member of the impact team with the objective to support the mission of Hawai'i Foodbank (HFB) and the people we serve by helping to build an ever-increasing network of engaged individuals, corporations, and organizations, agency partners and sites for the organization. The Community Food Drive & Events Coordinator coordinates the interactive operations of HFB's food drive program, the planning and logistics of the special events, building relationships in the community, and representing the Foodbank through internal and external activities. Also assists with the daily communication and operations of HFB's virtual fundraising campaigns, cause marketing partnerships and events. Seeks out opportunities to represent HFB at external events, and builds relationships in the community and with prospective partners, which may include evenings and weekends. The Community Food Drive & Events Coordinator is a team player, skilled communicator and highly organized, with experience in cultivating and stewarding community partnerships. Position Summary: The Donor Services Assistant will assist the fund development team with processing monetary and non-monetary gifts and pledges into the fundraising database (currently Raiser's Edge) and ensuring that timely and accurate acknowledgement / receipt letters are provided on a regular schedule. Gift processing will include non-monetary, in-kind, gifts, food poundage, matching gifts, Fight Hunger Hui and other recurring gifts, as well as honoraria/memorial gifts. The Assistant provides responses to donor questions and inquiries, and updates and maintains donor records. The Assistant will also assist in the administrative support for the Impact Team. The Assistant communicates in both verbal and written formats extensively and is highly detail-oriented. As a member of the Impact Team, the Donor Services Assistant is involved with food drives, events, and other projects and errands, as assigned. The Assistant must demonstrate an active commitment to the Hawaii Foodbank mission in all aspects of daily work. Position Summary: The Grants Assistant is responsible for the record keeping of the grants program at Hawai'i Foodbank and assists the grants team, which includes the Grants Coordinator, Director of Foundation Relations, and Grants and Communications Coordinator (Kaua'i). The Assistant helps with the financial tracking of active grants, monitors deadlines, assists with data gathering and research, and maintains a filing system for all grant-related documents and correspondence. The Assistant also helps maintain accurate donor and foundation records in the donor database. This person is highly organized, detail-oriented, and understands basic accounting principles. As a member of the Impact Team, the Assistant is also involved with food drives, events, and other development or programmatic activities as assigned. The Assistant must demonstrate an active commitment to the Hawai'i Foodbank mission in all aspects of daily work. Department: Impact - Programs Reports to: Vice President and Chief Impact Officer Submit Application and Resume to: Human Resources, humanresources@hawaiifoodbank.org Position Summary: The Director of Keiki Nutrition Programs will oversee all aspects of Hawaii Foodbank's Food 4 Keiki Programs including the School Pantry Program, Feeding our Future and Summer Food Service Program (SFSP). The Director will also launch a Child and Adult Care Food Program (CACFP) and explore other child food nutrition programs that will help end keiki hunger and food insecurity. The Director will ensure food safety and nutrition education requirements are met for all programs. This position requires that you work well with community partners, agencies, volunteers, and staff. The Director will strategize with government and community leaders, coordinate multi-functional projects, focus attention on details, and master administrative and organizational skills.The Director is a member of the Leadership Team, working closely with peers to advance the strategic work of the Foodbank. As a member of the Impact Team, the Director is involved with food drives, events, and other projects, as assigned. The Director of Strategic Giving, along with the Director of Foundation Relations and the Director of Corporate Relations and Partnerships, make up Hawai'i Foodbank's dynamic development director team. Submit Application to: Human Resources, humanresources@hawaiifoodbank.org Position Summary: The Director of Marketing and Communications is a seasoned professional who serves as the leader of Hawai'i Foodbank's communications team - developing and implementing strategic communications, public relations and marketing plans to support Hawai'i Foodbank's programs, services, campaigns and initiatives. This individual is responsible for leading Hawai'i Foodbank's brand strategy and ensuring consistency and quality of the organization's overall identity. The Director of Marketing and Communications serves as the key administrator for the organization's creative direction, internal and external communication, marketing programs, and publications.This individual often works independently with minimal supervision in a work environment of multiple and conflicting priorities. Position Summary: The Chill/Freezer Associate provides support to the warehousing operations with specific responsibilities to care and maintain all products with the Chill/Freezer. Also receives, stores, and distributes material, equipment, and products within the establishment. Manage and stock all products involved with the Chill/Freezer. Duties include but are not limited to: assists in receiving stock and non-stock items for the purpose of ensuring specifications, quantity and quality of orders are correct; reads Agency orders, shopping lists to determine items to be moved, gathered or distributed; moves items from receiving to salvage areas to other designated areas; sorts and restocks items on racks, shelves, or pallets according to predetermined specifications; sorts and stores perishable goods in refrigerated rooms; weighs and/or counts items for distribution to ensure conformance to company standards; records the number of items received and distributed; assists in maintaining inventory records.
