Sodexo is seeking -a talented and dynamic leader to help strengthen and lengthen our Universities partnerships! - -
As Sr. Director Partnership Strategies & Solutions, you will have a key role focusing on growth and retention while collaborating with Operations to elevate partnerships within our Universities segment. -Bring your creativity, strategic thinking, and client relationship skills to help us

  • Facilitate a client/consumer-centric growth mindset focused on continuous innovation and enhanced communications -
  • Ensure execution of relationship management best practices

    This is a Remote Role with up to 50% travel
    Candidates can reside in any state, but preferably within the region (CO, NM, AZ, CA, UT, NV, OR, WA, ID, HI)
    within proximity to a major airport
    The ideal candidate will:

    • Manage a portfolio of accounts for contract renewal and expansion including retention activities, extensions, and competitive re-bid; lead the development of sales presentations, proposals, and contractual sales documents for proactive extensions and competitive rebids.
    • Collaborate with Operations on relationship management best practices; provide support on strategic objectives and execution of relationship management activities including annual expectation meetings, visitation planning, web of influence mapping, innovation planning, and key milestones activities; ensure activities are consistently executed; co-plan and co-conduct critical meetings with operations; monitor and measure completion and quality of key client activities:
    • Identify and develop a holistic territory management strategy for relationship management for designated territory; assist in development of comprehensive action plans for partnership retention including pro-actively mapping regional activities (1-3yr outlook); lead risk review pipeline calls, and maintain focus on strategy

      The ideal candidate will have:

      • 7+ years of experience in client-facing leadership roles with ability to influence and effect change
      • Deep understanding of Operations and Sales processes
      • Ability to interface with senior leadership on both Sodexo and Client side
      • Strong written & verbal communication skills
      • Sodexo and/or industry expertise
      • Business development skills
      • Deep understanding of industry, client, and consumer pain points

        Compensation: Base Salary $130-150K (depending on experience and geography) + Car Allowance + Annual Incentive Plan

        Position Summary
        Drive sustainable/profitable growth and retention by ensuring execution of relationship management best practices. Collaborate and drive Operations to elevate partnerships. - Enable sustainable/profitable growth through contract retention/extension. - Facilitate development of operations and support teams from an execution focused mind-set to a client/consumer-centric growth mindset focused on continuous innovation and enhanced communications. -
        Responsible for identifying and developing a holistic territory management strategy for relationship management for SVP territory(ies). Lead Annual business planning process to proactively map regional activities (1-3yr outlook):

        • Proactively needs for territory: FER, IDology, TARP, CIQ, etc
        • Key activities, milestones, and recovery activities based on needs
        • Lead Monthly follow-up: pipeline calls, key topics, progress strategy


          • Assist in development of comprehensive action plans, "One Plan", for designated accounts in area of responsibility. Monitor and measure completion and quality of key CFL activities: Transition Meetings, Annual Expectation Meetings (AEMs), Quarterly Business Reviews (QBRs), WOIs etc.
          • Assist with Account level relationship management strategy and ensure activities are consistently executed. Includes core CFL activities, visitation planning, web mapping, conversation content mapping, innovation planning, and key milestones activities. Co-plan and co-conduct critical meetings with operations
          • Counsel Operations on relationship management best practices. Provide guidance on strategic objectives of relationship management activities and provide tools/support on relationship management best practices
          • Responsible for managing a portfolio of accounts for Contract renewal and expansion including retention, re-bid, and both new and horizontal sales processes. Leads the development of sales presentations, proposals, and contractual sales documents for proactive extensions and competitive rebids.
          • Advises on expanded business opportunities. Collaborates on cross sale initiatives in conjunction with new sales associate and operational leadership Proactively investigates business opportunities to expand existing partnerships

            Qualifications & Requirements
            Basic Education Requirement - Bachelor's Degree -or equivalent experience
            Basic Management Experience - - 7 years
            Basic Functional Experience - 7 years
