Learn how we are making a difference in people's lives today!Job DescriptionCognosante is seeking to fill Project Manager positions for a Department of Defense Enterprise-wide IT contract supporting the US Army military intelligence community. This candidate will plan, manage, track, and execute IT-related infrastructure tasks / projects at their specific duty location. - The candidate is expected to develop project plans, establish milestones, and provide updates to key stakeholders on project plan deliverables. - *This is contingent upon contract award.*Key Responsibilities

• Lead, manage, and execute tasks, projects and operations approved by the Government leadership at the site or the Change Management Board (CMB) to ensure production schedules are met and systems resources are used effectively.
• Ensure close coordination with government mission partners and contract workforce to facilitate project / task execution and to meet anticipated timelines. - Elevate issue(s) to the appropriate Government stakeholder(s) and PM as necessary to resolve issues. -
• The contractor shall provide the CMB periodic In-Progress-Reviews (IPR) (defined in the organization's initial project plan). At the IPR the contractor shall address, at a minimum: project scope and objectives; schedules, project cost estimates, and expenditures; status; deliverables; risk; and proposed way ahead to address project issues.Required Qualifications
  • Associates Degree
  • At least three years of experience managing teams of at least 10 people.
  • 3-4 years of experience in Project Management-related duties.
  • Project Management Professional Certification (PMP) or Federal Acquisition Certification for Program and Project Managers (FAC- P/PM).
  • TSSCICandidates that do not meet the required qualifications will not be considered.Preferred Qualifications
    • Strong leadership background / skills.
    • Bachelor's degree in technology related field.
    • 4-6 years of experience in Project Management-related functions / duties.
    • At least three years of experience managing teams of at least 10 people. -
    • IAT Level III Certification
    • Communication skills to effectively interface with military officials, managers, and subordinates.Places of Performance
