The Operations Manager plays a crucial role in ensuring we deliver
the sales effort through outstanding customer service.
What you get to do:
Manage payroll tasks and personnel in US and Offshore
Handle routine to complex inquiries or issues from stakeholders, as
needed
Communicate organizational changes to the team effectively
Primary escalation point for all talent payroll issues
Accomplish results through non-exempt specialist associates
Manage and mentor Operations associates responsible for providing
additional administrative and sales support
Hire, train, develop and supervise the Operations staff
Recruit, screen, test, interview, complete reference checks, and
provides orientation to prospective temporary employees
Responsible for hiring/firing decisions, performance evaluations
and counseling of temporary department employees
Manage people and the processes associated with the vertical
responsibilities listed below
Vertical responsibilities:
Serve as talent's dedicated contact for all payroll or timekeeping
questions and issues
Confirm that RBE Payroll receives and enters approved time for all
talent that worked the previous week, by Tuesday close of business
(COB) each week
Update producers (local branch) on the status of time collection
regularly (daily); make them aware when talent is missing time or
if their talent's time missed the Tuesday COB cutoff
Ensure talent gets time entered and approved so that they receive a
paycheck and so that billing can be processed, even if after
Tuesday COB cutoff
Ensure talent time compliance with local, state and federal
requirements
Maintain and update: weekly payroll Google doc for each branch
(daily), Client Specific Requirements, logins for VMS sites and
drug/background vendors
Run and review time entry audit report, payroll register, invoice
register, third-party vendor payment reports and spread reports to
ensure accuracy
Research and resolve any issues discovered
Research and respond promptly to inquiries from centralized payroll
department
Serve as a liaison between RTG Enablement and RBE teams
Communicate updates to talent when needed
What you need to bring:
1+ years of leadership experience managing 4+ direct reports
strongly preferred
Bachelor's degree preferred
3-5 years related professional experience, preferably in a staffing
operations environment
Ability to work Monday-Friday, West Coast hours
Be available for escalations through 5pm Pacific Time; strongly
prefer individuals residing in Pacific or Mountain Time
Demonstrate excellent interpersonal, organizational skills and
verbal & written communication skills
Ability to prioritize and multi-task in a fast-paced, changing
environment
Ability to set goals and meet deadlines, exhibiting strong time
management skills
Ability to develop and maintain relationships with key business
partners by building personal credibility and trust
Ability to adapt to change with a firm commitment to process
improvement
Maintain courteous, professional and effective working
relationships with employees at all levels of the organization
Proficient in handling difficult situations and human relations
issues with professionalism and respect
Demonstrate problem-solving skills
Ability to maintain the confidentiality of documents
Advanced PC skills with Google Workspace (Docs, Calendar, Shared
Drive)
Intermediate skills with Google Sheets or Excel (pivot tables,
formulas, vlookup)

The base salary range for this position is $67,735 - $96,400.

Pay offered to a successful candidate will be based on several
factors including the candidate's education, work experience, work
location, specific job duties, certifications, etc. Based on
eligibility, a successful candidate's total compensation may
include a variable pay plan including bonus(es) and/or
commission(s). In setting compensation, Randstad complies with all
local wage and hour laws and while the pay range listed above is an
annual amount, non-exempt employees will be paid hourly and
therefore receive the hourly equivalent.
