Job Description:
The Alaka'ina Foundation Family of Companies (FOCs) is looking
for a qualified Program Manager to support our Pacific Operations
Office in Honolulu, Hawai'i.We are seeking a highly engaged leader
capable of managing multiple programs effectively. Programs are
varied, spanning multiple Industries and Government agencies.
Primary responsibilities include ensuring our successful
performance of Federal contracts in the service sector with our
Department of Defense (DoD) partners.DESCRIPTION OF
RESPONSIBILITIES:Manages various DoD and other Federal projects
within assigned areas of operations to ensure appropriate
management controls for planning, directing program execution and
for monitoring, and reporting progress and issues.Manage all
Contracts/Task Orders within assigned area of operations to ensure
appropriate management controls for planning, directing program
execution, and for monitoring and reporting progress and
issues.Review and track funding levels on all projects; develop and
manage on-going project status and estimate-to-completion reports;
and manage, track and report labor hours and costs for active
projects.Staffing and Personnel Management oversees the acquisition
and employment of program resources; create personnel requisitions:
conduct interviews; and coordinate on-boarding with the customers
and corporate departments.Problem Identification and Risk
Management: provide early detection of problems; utilize lessons
learned to minimize problem reoccurrence; and follow up to insure
problem resolutionPrepare and compile Weekly Reports; Monthly
Status Reports; and other contract deliverables.Respond to
questions/concerns of the client in relation to performance and
labor.Develop and foster relationships with employees, customers,
and potential customers.Assist in Business Development
opportunities and organizational growth.Review contracts and
contract modifications.Review and ensure accuracy of monthly
invoices.Review and assist the Finance Department with account
receivable issues.Participate in special projects and various other
duties as required.Will be required to travel 15-20% and as
required.Other duties as assigned by
Supervisor.DEGREE/EDUCATION/CERTIFICATION REQUIREMENT:Bachelor of
Science (BS) in Business Management or related field plus five (5)
years of experience in project and program management, or an
appropriate combination of education and experience in project and
program management functions.REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:Five
plus (5+) years experience managing performance of multiple
Government contracts.Three plus (3+) years experience in an
operational leadership role.Excellent communication skills (verbal
and written).Excellent organizational skillProficient in MS Office
(Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, Outlook & SharePoint).Ability to
manage and ensure the successful completion of multiple technical
tasks.Effective supervisory skills: ability to clarify team
purposes and goals, build team commitment, strengthen collective
skills, and work approaches; and ability to analyze and ensure that
effective and accurate procedures are in place.Ability to lead a
team successfully through proven leadership and interpersonal
skills.Ability to prioritize and successfully manage numerous
simultaneous activities.Must be able to work independently with
minimal direction and excellent organizational skills.Excellent
Time Management skills.Experienced in customer interfacing.Ability
to develop and nurture client and potential client
relationshipsMentoring/Coaching Employees for success.Regulatory
Compliance.Ability to effectively enforce company policies.DESIRED
SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:Project Management Professional (PMP)
certificationValue Based Six Sigma (VBSS)CITIZENSHIP/SECURITY
CLEARANCE REQUIREMENTS:Must be a U.S. CitizenCurrently possess or
be able to obtain a DoD Interim Secret security clearance.The
