Role:Tetra Tech's Disaster Response Division currently has an
opportunity for a Project Manager. This is a REMOTE position for
someone who resides in Hawaii. This role will require periodic
travel, which may include long-term deployments for disaster
response efforts.Responsibilities include:
- Serves as Primary Point of Contact between client,
stakeholders, and project team, and provides good customer service
to applicants through prompt follow-up and a professional
demeanor.
- Manages the overall operation and direction of the program or
project and determines and defines project scopes and
objectives.
- Predicts resources needed to reach objectives and manages
resources in an effective and efficient manner.
- Prepares budget based on scope of work and resource
requirements, maintains project work plan, and tracks project costs
in order to meet Tetra Tech financial goals.
- Provides written and oral reports to contract management and
client representatives and provides project updates on a consistent
basis to various stakeholders about strategy, adjustments, and
progress.
- Manages contracts with vendors and suppliers by assigning tasks
and communicating expected deliverables.
- Develops strategies for achieving project goals and objectives
and monitors progress and adjusts as needed.
- Measures project performance to identify areas for
improvement.
- Provides strategic guidance to team and leads internal
meetings.
- Reviews and approves project SOPs, Org Charts, staffing
changes, payroll, and time and attendance requests.
- Utilizes industry best practices, techniques, and standards
throughout project execution.
- Provides customer service to applicants throughout the FEMA
Public Assistance grant management process.
- Coordinates with FEMA PA Site Inspector and PA Program Delivery
Task Force Leaders for effective grant funding delivery.
- Coordinates with stakeholders to complete FEMA PA grant
applications.
- Oversees FEMA Grants Portal application process.
- Follows applicable regulations on grant eligibility and
communicates changes to program requirements.
- Reviews project recommendations and develops RFIs with FEMA
leads.
- Provides technical assistance regarding FEMA and related
funding sources.
- Conducts activities in line with procedures, legislation, and
standards.
- Pursues ongoing professional development.
- Works safely and reports health and safety incidents.
- Performs additional duties as required.Qualifications
include:
- 7+ years of FEMA Public Assistance Grant Experience
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
- Strong communication skills, organized, detail-oriented,
self-motivated
- Ability to adapt quickly to changing priorities
- Associate or bachelor's degree preferred
- Experience as Program Delivery Manager (PDMG), Grants Manager,
