The MGRI ensures the restaurant is clean, staffed, and operates to high standards, using prescribed policies and procedures for management decisions.Essential Functions:
  • Complete opening, daily, and closing procedures/checklists according to company policies
  • Assist the AGM/GM in supervising daily activities of associates within a restaurant or points-of-sale
  • Participate in hiring, provide input on employee status changes to the GM
  • Assign tasks, prepare schedules, and ensure shift coverage
  • Ensure associates take mandated rest breaks and meal periods
  • Maintain clean, stocked, and appealing display areas
  • Ensure equipment is in good working order
  • Operate cash register, process transactions, follow cash handling policies, and maintain security
  • Monitor compliance with wellness and safety procedures, report concerns
  • Perform health and safety activities as specified in the Manager's Guide
  • Place orders, receive goods, process invoices
  • Maintain current contact information for all associatesRequirements:
    • Ability to work shifts during various operating hours, including opening, busy periods, and closing
    • Knowledge of federal, state, and local sanitary, safety, and health standards, including HACCP protocolsReporting and Schedule:The MGRI reports to the General Manager, Director of Operations, or a Multi-Unit Manager. The position requires a varied and rotating schedule, including opening, busy, and closing shifts.Minimum Qualifications:
      • At least 2 years of food and beverage, cash handling, and customer service experience
      • At least 6 months of supervisory or lead experience in a restaurant or kitchen
