Job Description:
This individual is also responsible for ensuring appropriate handling and processing of SPS/RME throughout the continuum of care. This includes processes and activities as necessary to ensure comprehensive effective SPS/RME compliance with related standards and operational requirements, as outlined in VHA Directives and other applicable directives, regulations and standards. The ICPM reports to the Associate Director for Patient Care Services/Nurse Executive (ADPCS/NE), and works collaboratively with the facilities Associate Chief of Staffs for clinical care.
