Responsibilities I. JOB SUMMARY/RESPONSIBILITIES:--- - Performs radiation therapy and simulation procedures on the patient in accordance with prescribed treatment plan.II. TYPICAL PHYSICAL DEMANDS:--- - Essential: standing, walking, seeing, hearing, speaking, lifting usual weight of 5 pounds up to 25 pounds, pushing/pulling weight up to 10 pounds, reaching above shoulder level, repetitive arm/hand motions. ---- - Continuous: - carrying usual weight of 5 pounds. ---- - Frequent: - stooping/bending, gripping of an object for prolonged periods. ---- - Operates linear accelerators, simulators, computer, calculator, blood irradiator.III. TYPICAL WORKING CONDITIONS:--- - Not substantially subjected to adverse environmental conditions.--- - Exposure to radiation, body fluids, communicable diseases and mechanical/electrical units. ---- - Work environment is very fast paced.IV. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:A. EDUCATION/CERTIFICATION AND LICENSURE:--- - Current Hawaii State license as a Radiation Therapist.--- - Current BLS/HCP certification.B.
