This is a reality for AbbVie's Experiential Interns.KEY RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:

• Design and execute experiments to interrogate target biology in immune cells using a variety of approaches, including CRISPR/CAS9 mediated gene editing in primary immune cells
• Execute scientific research utilizing ex vivo/in vitro assays to evaluate the function of immune and tumor cell populations and their interactions
• Generate scientific key data for target biologyMINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
  • Currently enrolled in university, pursuing a Bachelor's, Master's or PhD in Immunology, Molecular Biological Sciences, Cancer Biology or related fields
  • Must be enrolled in university during the internship period
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skillsPREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
    • Exposure to scientific research
    • Experiences in immune assays including ELISA, FACS and Western Blot
    • Primary immune cell isolation
