Located in Kailua, Adventist Health Castle is a 160-bed hospital
and network of eleven community care clinics comprising of dental,
primary and specialty care in Kailua, Kaneohe, Kapolei and Laie.
Adventist Health Castle focuses on providing patient-centered
healthcare in a caring environment, close to home, that extends
beyond medical center and medical office walls.
Administers radiopharmaceuticals or radiation intravenously to
detect or treat diseases, using radioisotope equipment. Administers
medical substances for imaging or other procedures. Performs
screening procedures for diagnostic interpretation. Coordinates
patient flow and maintains procedure quality control.
Education and Work Experience:
- Bachelor's Degree in nuclear medicine technology or equivalent
(some certifications will require Bachelor's): Required
- Master's Degree: Preferred
- MRI experience: Preferred
- Registered by the American Registry of Radiological
Technologist in Nuclear Medicine (ARRT) from the state of practice
Certified Nuclear Medicine Technologist (CNMT): Required
- Basic Life Support (BLS) - American Heart Association:
- Prepares, administers, and measures radioactive isotopes in
therapeutic, diagnostic, and tracer studies using a variety of
radioisotope equipment. Prepares stock solutions of radioactive
materials and calculates doses to be administered by radiologists.
Subjects patients to radiation. Executes blood volume, red cell
survival, and fat absorption studies following standard laboratory
techniques. Administers intravenous injections in accordance with
