Job Description:

• Honolulu, HI
• Neonatal NP coverage
• 30-60 days to credential- 13 week assignment with option to extend
• Schedule: Flexible schedule- 7am-7pm or 7pm-7am, 3 shifts on/off, but willing to work around another schedule
• Daily Responsibilities: Seeing patients in NICU; Attending C-Sections, High Risk Deliveries; Must be comfortable with Chest Tube Insertion, Central Lines, Intubations. Will not do Circumcisions; Interprets antenatal/perinatal health history. Assesses gestational age. Performs resuscitation of newborns in delivery room and in Neonatal Units with use of bag and mask, laryngoscopy, endotracheal intubation, cardiac compressions, intravenous access and emergency medications. Performs physical exams and evaluations on infants in the Delivery, Neonatal and Mother-Baby Units. Performs specialized procedures on high-risk infants to include umbilical artery and vein catheterization, endotracheal intubation, suprapubic bladder tap, lumbar puncture, peripheral central venous catheterization, peripheral artery catheterization, needle aspiration of pneumothorax, sepsis work-ups and other procedures following clinical competencies for advanced practice.
• Patients per day: 12-14 NICU Daily Census
• EMR: EPIC
• Qualifications: Must be Board Certified, BLS from AHA, Neonatal Resuscitation Certification, Neonatal Nurse Practitioner Certificate
• Licensing candidates accepted- AMN will assist with obtaining your HI license
