JOB SUMMARY/RESPONSIBILITIES:----- Performs a variety of radiologic procedures.------- Provides patient care during procedures.II. TYPICAL PHYSICAL DEMANDS:----- Essential: standing, walking, finger dexterity, seeing, hearing, speaking; lifting usual weight of 50 pounds; pushing/pulling usual weight of 50 pounds of force; carrying usual weight of 20 pounds.------- Continuous: stooping/bending; reaching above and below shoulder level, frequent gripping of an object, pushing/pulling usual weight up to 50 pounds.------- Frequent:-- twisting body, lifting usual weight with assistance up to 50 pounds; carrying up to 40 pounds; reaching at shoulders, repetitive arm/hand motions, static gripping of an object for prolonged periods of time.------- Occasional: sitting, kneeling, crawling, climbing stairs, walking on uneven ground, squatting.------- Operates x-ray equipment, computer and printer, fax machine, surgical supplies and equipment, film cassettes, film processors.III. TYPICAL WORKING CONDITIONS:----- Exposed to both inside and outside environmental conditions; cold temperatures due to the air conditioning.------- Subjected to noise/vibration from film processors.------- Exposure to communicable diseases, body fluids, mechanical/electrical units, chemicals and radiation.----- Work Environment is fast paced and high stressed due to patient census.IV.
