In addition to your base compensation, this position also offers: - Comprehensive medical, dental, and vision plans, plus flexible-spending and health- savings accounts - Competitive paid time off and extended illness bank package for full-time employees - Income-protection programs, such as life, accident, critical-injury insurance, short- and long-term disability, and identity theft coverage - Tuition reimbursement, loan assistance, and 401(k) matching - Employee assistance program including mental, physical, and financial wellness - Professional development and growth opportunities Department/Unit Summary 15-30 cases/day 8 hour shifts 6:45am-3:15pm or 12 hours 7a-7p Call is required 7 days with 1 weekend (30 min call time) Essential Functions - Performs plan of care intervention, including medication administration, specimen collection, clinical treatments, as well as other medical care treatment. - Documents patient care given. - Monitors, records, and communicates patient condition as appropriate to care team, physician, patient, and family. - Assists patients with performing activities of daily living, including personal hygiene, elimination, nutrition, and ambulation. - Collaborates as needed across disciplines to coordinate patient care, including patient transfer, discharge, referral and spiritual/psychosocial support needs. - Evaluates learning needs of patient and/or family and provides patient/family education appropriate to age, culture, condition, and circumstances. - Works as an advocate for the physical and emotional well-being of the patient. Qualifications and requirements
Applicants should have a current state RN license and possess a bachelor's degree from an accredited nursing school. Additional requirements include: - Basic Life Support certification is required within 30 days of hire. - ACLS and PALS are required within six months of hire. - One year of experience preferred - ASLS certification preferred EEOC Statement "Frye Regional Medical Center is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
