Job Description ShareSTAFF is seeking a travel nurse RN Cardiac Cath Lab for a travel nursing job in Honolulu, Hawaii. Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: Cardiac Cath Lab - Discipline: RN - Start Date: 07/07/2025 - Duration: 13 weeks - 40 hours per week - Shift: 8 hours, days - Employment Type: Travel Job Title: Cath Lab Registered Nurse (RN) – Travel Assignment Location: Honolulu, Hawaii Assignment Type: 13-week Contract Schedule: Day Shift | 40 Hours/Week Compensation: - Weekly Stipend: $3,070 (inclusive of housing and meals) - Travel Allowance: $500 (one-time) Position Summary: We are seeking an experienced and compassionate Cath Lab Registered Nurse (RN) for a 13-week travel assignment in Honolulu, Hawaii. This role involves providing direct patient care in a fast-paced cardiac catheterization lab, collaborating with an interdisciplinary team to deliver high-quality cardiovascular care. Cath Lab RN Key Responsibilities: - Assist in all procedures performed in the cath lab including diagnostic and interventional cardiac procedures. - Monitor and document patient vitals before, during, and after procedures. - Administer medications and manage moderate sedation as per protocol. - Maintain strict aseptic technique and ensure all equipment is sterilized and functioning. - Collaborate with cardiologists, radiologic technologists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure patient safety and optimal outcomes. - Provide pre- and post-procedural patient education and support. Cath Lab Qualifications: - Active RN license in Hawaii (or eligibility to obtain). - Minimum 2 years of recent cath lab RN experience. - BLS and ACLS certification required. - Strong understanding of cardiovascular procedures and hemodynamic monitoring. - Excellent communication, critical thinking, and organizational skills.
