ADEX Healthcare Staffing LLC is seeking a travel nurse RN ED - Emergency Department for a travel nursing job in Honakaa, Hawaii. Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: ED - Emergency Department - Discipline: RN - Start Date: 02/23/2026 - Duration: 15 weeks - 36 hours per week - Shift: 12 hours, rotating - Employment Type: Travel RN Position Job Notes: Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2 years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available. Opportunity: RN - ER Job Details: • Variable 8-hour or 12-hour shifts with 80 hours scheduled in a 2-week period • Manager determines specific shift assignment upon arrival • One on-call shift per roster required • At least one weekend off per roster guaranteed • Must arrive Thursday before start date for Friday employee health appointment • More than 2 years of nursing experience required • Proficient IV skills required • Must be familiar with Stroke, STEMI, and Trauma activations • Understanding of core measures and National Patient Safety Goals required • Familiarity with AIDET and Press Ganey patient customer service standards • Required certifications: ACLS, PALS, TNCC, BLS, NIHSS (mandatory) • NCI and Procedural Sedation certifications requested but not mandatory • Hawaii nursing license required by start of assignment • Equipment utilized includes Meditech EMR, Life pack Defibrillators, Braun IV pumps, Philips Monitoring Systems, and Motorola Radio Systems • May float to other units as determined by nursing administration based on clinical abilities • Must be able to multitask and work independently and efficiently Facility: This healthcare facility operates as both a hospital and skilled nursing facility, providing comprehensive medical care to the community.
