License: State license as a Radiologic Technologist Certifications:
Current BLS certification Must-Have: One (1) year experience in an
acute care facility preferred Description: Performs a variety of
radiologic procedures. Provides patient care during procedures.
Standing, walking, finger dexterity, seeing, hearing, and speaking
are required. Continuous activities include stooping/bending,
reaching above and below shoulder level, and frequent gripping of
objects. Pushing and pulling usual weight up to 50 pounds of force
is necessary. Frequent activities involve twisting the body,
lifting usual weight with assistance up to 50 pounds, and carrying
up to 40 pounds. Reaching at shoulder level, repetitive arm and
hand motions, and static gripping of an object for prolonged
periods are also required. Occasional activities may include
sitting, kneeling, crawling, climbing stairs, walking on uneven
ground, and squatting. Exposure to both inside and outside
environmental conditions may occur. Cold temperatures due to air
conditioning may be present. Noise and vibration from film
processors are common. Exposure to communicable diseases, body
fluids, mechanical and electrical units, chemicals, and radiation
may occur. Work environment is fast-paced and high-stress due to
