Job Quick Facts: Specialty: Cardiothoracic Surgery Job Type: Locum Tenens Facility Location: Honolulu, HI Service Setting: Inpatient/Outpatient Reason For Coverage: Supplemental Coverage Period: ASAP - Ongoing Coverage Type: Call only Call Schedule:: 24-hr call; Every 3rd weekend rotation - Fri(night) - Mon(morning) Patient Volume: TBD Phone Consults: 2-3 per day Annual TCV Volume: 400 pumps Case Mix: CTHS Required Procedures: - Aortic dissections - Emergency ECMO/Impella - Rarely CABG/cardiac trauma consults Other Info: - The elective CABG/valve consults can be dealt with by primary TCV after the weekend. - If the staff surgeons are on PTO then the locums will cover that period too; PTO dates to be identified.
