This role sits at the center of a hospital's clinical research operations and is responsible for building and leading their entire clinical trial pharmacy function from the ground up . It's a rare chance to step into a position where your expertise will directly shape infrastructure, workflows, compliance processes, and long-term research capabilities. Highlights of the Role: Serve as the primary pharmacy lead for all drug-related clinical trials Review protocols, establish dispensing workflows, fee schedules, and billing procedures Oversee investigational drug inventory, ordering, dispensing, accountability, and secure storage Train pharmacy staff and provide drug-related guidance to physicians and research teams Lead administrative oversight, documentation, and cross-department communication Act as the key liaison between pharmacy, investigators, and sponsors Fill critical gaps in a program that's being built from scratch - your expertise will directly shape it Assignment Details: * Part-time (10-30 hrs/week depending on workflow) * Remote to start, with 2 trips onsite per year * Ideal long-term plan: relocate onsite within 6-12 months (preferred but not required) * Must be willing to obtain Hawaii pharmacist licensure Top Requirements: ? Clinical trial experience as a pharmacist ? Willingness to travel onsite periodically ? Open to variable weekly hours ?
