Shift Type: Rotating 12-hour shifts, 3 per week (3/12 rotating
schedule), includes consecutive weekends when needed; specific
clock start/end times vary by unit and are not provided Hours per

people heal. Roles & Responsibilities Provide high-quality,
evidence-based critical care nursing to adult ICU patients Assess,
monitor, and respond to changes in patient condition with clinical
judgment and urgency Administer medications, manage lines and
drains, and coordinate advanced therapies as appropriate
Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to create and
execute individualized care plans Float to PCU or Med-Surg as
needed to support patient flow and maintain safe staffing
Communicate clearly with patients, families, and the care team to
ensure compassionate, coordinated care Document patient care
accurately and timely in the medical record Qualifications Active
Hawaii RN license required prior to contract start Current
Registered Nurse (RN) with ICU experience Ability and willingness
to float to PCU and Med-Surg when census requires Availability to
work consecutive weekends when needed Comfort working rotating
12-hour shifts Education Graduate of an accredited nursing program
(ADN or BSN); BSN preferred where available Knowledge & Skills
Clinical expertise in critical care nursing and familiarity with
ICU monitoring and interventions Ability to prioritize and manage
multiple critically ill patients safely Strong communication and
teamwork skills in a fast-paced acute care environment Adaptability
to float between ICU, PCU, and Med-Surg and learn different unit
