Job Description ADEX Healthcare Staffing LLC is seeking a travel nurse RN ICU - Intensive Care Unit for a travel nursing job in Honolulu, Hawaii. Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: ICU - Intensive Care Unit - Discipline: RN - Start Date: 03/02/2026 - Duration: 13 weeks - 36 hours per week - Shift: 12 hours - Employment Type: Travel Opportunity: /n RN - Trauma ICU /n/n Job Details: /n • Work rotating shifts with 48 hours per week /n• 16-week contract duration /n• Graduate of an accredited nursing program; BSN preferred /n• Active, unencumbered Hawaii RN license required /n• Current BLS/HCP, ACLS, NIHSS, and PALS required /n• TNCC, CPI (or equivalent) preferred /n• Specialty certification(s) highly desired (CCRN, TCRN, SCRN, CNRN) /n• Must pass EKG exam with 80% or better during orientation /n• Two or more years of full-time staff RN experience in a Neuroscience ICU at a Level I Trauma Center required /n• CRRT experience highly desired /n• Float to ICU, Stepdown, and Telemetry based upon facility needs /n• Compliance must be completed no later than 10 days prior to contract start date /n• Requested Time Off (RTO) is not permitted during the initial contract period /n• Care for pediatric, adolescent, and adult patients with various neurological conditions /n• Work with specialized equipment including continuous ECG and EEG monitoring, hemodynamic and intracranial pressure monitoring, cooling therapy, and mechanical ventilation /n/n Facility: /n This healthcare facility features a 17-bed Neuroscience Intensive Care Unit with 2 isolation rooms and 2 hemodialysis rooms, operating 24/7 with coverage by a Neurointensivist and Neuro Acute Care Nurse Practitioners. The unit specializes in treating post-operative neurosurgical and neurointerventional cases, traumatic brain injury, intracerebral hemorrhage, spinal cord injury, stroke, brain tumors, and other complex neurological conditions.
