registered nurse (RN) license and minimum 1 years ER RN experience
required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not
be considered. A registered nurse with emergency room experience is
needed to support a busy 28-bed ER department. This contract
opportunity offers a fast-paced, team-oriented environment in a
facility featuring 4 trauma bays, 2 behavioral health rooms, and 22
cardiac monitor rooms ideal for an RN who thrives in high-intensity
settings. Location Highlights: Volcano, HI, is a unique location
known for its breathtaking natural beauty and close proximity to
volcanic landscapes and lush rainforests. Living here offers a
peaceful yet adventurous lifestyle with access to outdoor
activities like hiking, stargazing, and exploring volcanic parks.
Schedule: - 3 days per week - 12-hour day shifts (36 hours weekly)
- No guaranteed hours Qualifications & Certifications: - Active RN
license in the State of Hawaii (must be obtained before the start
of the assignment) - Basic Life Support (BLS) certification -
Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification - Pediatric
Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification - Preferred but not
required: Procedural Sedation, TMCC, and EMPC certifications
Responsibilities: - Provide high-quality emergency nursing care in
a fast turnover environment - Manage patients with a wide variety
of urgent medical needs, including trauma and behavioral health -
Collaborate closely with the interdisciplinary team to ensure
coordinated patient care - Maintain safety and comfort for patients
during emergency procedures Additional Requirements: - Candidates
must arrive the Thursday before the start date to complete an
employee health appointment on Friday - Travelers without a current
Hawaii RN license must apply immediately upon acceptance of the
offer to ensure licensure before starting This 15-week contract is
ideal for an ER nurse eager to expand their skills in a dynamic
