Patient Care Tech Location: Honolulu, HI Agency: Acruex Health Pay: $1,024 to $1,152 per week Shift Information: Evenings - 5 days x 8 hours Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: ASAP About the Position Pay Rate: $32.00 - $36.00/Hourly. Summary: A Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) in Long-Term Care (LTC) provides direct daily care to residents in facilities such as nursing homes, rehabilitation centers, and assisted living communities. CNAs assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs) , monitor their condition, and support nurses in delivering quality care. Responsibilities: ?Give patients tub, sponge, and bed baths. Assist ambulatory patients with showers. Give showers to non-ambulatory patients using a shower gurney. Assist patients with toileting (e.g., position bedpans, escort patients to commode/urinals, help with bladder and bowel training, etc.). Assist patients with dressing, grooming and personal hygiene activities (e.g., shave, shampoo hair, apply lotion to skin, trim nails, etc.). Assist patients with oral hygiene (e.g., brush teeth, care for dentures, etc.). Measure and accurately record intake and output on appropriate forms in the patient’s record. Collect stool, urine, and sputum specimens for analysis. Position, lift, and transfer patients in and out of bed using special equipment, as necessary.
