ASAP About the Position Pay Rate: $44.00 - $48.00/Hourly. Summary:
A Sleep Technologist is responsible for conducting and monitoring
sleep studies (polysomnography) to diagnose and evaluate sleep
disorders. The role involves preparing patients for sleep studies,
operating sleep monitoring equipment, collecting and analyzing
sleep data, and assisting physicians in diagnosing conditions such
as Sleep Apnea , Insomnia , and Narcolepsy . Responsibilities:
Explain sleep study procedures to patients and address any
concerns. Prepare patients for sleep studies by applying electrodes
and sensors. Ensure patient comfort and safety throughout the
testing process. ?Conduct overnight sleep studies (polysomnography)
to monitor brain activity, breathing patterns, oxygen levels, heart
rate, and body movements. Monitor patients during sleep and adjust
equipment as necessary. Identify abnormalities during sleep and
report them appropriately. Requirements Requirements: 5 - Year
experience Required, BLS Certification, Must be a Certified /
