Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: Anesthesia - Discipline: CRNA - Start Date: 04/01/2026 - Duration: 24 weeks - 40 hours per week - Shift: 8 hours, days, evenings - Employment Type: Locum Tenens Locum Tenens Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) Kaiser Permanente – Moanalua Medical Center Honolulu, HI Position Overview Kaiser Permanente Moanalua Medical Center is seeking 3–4 experienced CRNAs for an ongoing locum tenens assignment to support staffing shortages and labor disruption. This is a hospital?based role offering full?time hours, flexible shift lengths, and no call. Providers must be comfortable practicing under medical supervision while functioning independently in a busy, multi?specialty surgical environment. Hawaii?licensed CRNAs only will be considered. Assignment Details - Location: Moanalua Medical Center, Honolulu, HI - Start Date: ASAP (must be able to start in February) - Duration: 3 months with option to extend - FTE Need: 3–4 CRNAs - Minimum Commitment: 3 shifts per week - Setting: Hospital - Shifts: - Monday–Friday, 40 hours/week - Mix of 8s, 10s, and 12s - Typical shifts: 7:00a–3:30p, 7:00a–5:30p, 7:00a–7:30p - 1–2 weekend shifts per month preferred · Call: None - EMR: EPIC (Health Connect) Clinical Responsibilities - Provide anesthesia care across a broad surgical mix, including: - General - Orthopedics - GI - GYN - Neuro - ENT - Vascular - Regional blocks optional - No Hearts, No Transplants, No OB - Work under medical supervision while practicing independently - Collaborate with anesthesiologists and surgical teams - Manage assigned OR cases based on daily schedule and room assignment Practice Environment - 13 operating rooms - 2 GI suites - Team includes anesthesiologists and CRNAs - CRNAs must be comfortable operating independently - Census varies based on daily OR schedule Compensation & Structure - Hourly Rate: $260 - OT Rate: $360/hr after 40 hours/week - Emergency Privileges Available: ~2?week turnaround Requirements - Active Hawaii CRNA license (no licensing candidates accepted) - Board Certified CRNA - AHA BLS and ACLS required - PALS preferred - Ability to start in February - Comfortable with independent practice under medical supervision About TheraEX Staffing Services TheraEx Staffing Services is a leading name in healthcare staffing solutions.
