Doctor of Medicine | Surgery - Cardiothoracic Location: Honolulu, HI Employer: Adelphi Locums Pay: Competitive weekly pay (inquire for details) Start Date: ASAP About the Position Job Quick Facts: • Specialty: Cardiothoracic Surgery • Job Type: Locum Tenens • Facility Location: Honolulu, HI • Service Setting: Inpatient/Outpatient • Reason For Coverage: Supplemental • Coverage Period: ASAP - Ongoing • Coverage Type: Call only • Call Schedule:: 24-hr call; Every 3rd weekend rotation - Fri(night) - Mon(morning) • Patient Volume: TBD • Phone Consults: 2-3 per day • Annual TCV Volume: 400 pumps • Case Mix: CTHS • Required Procedures: - Aortic dissections - Emergency ECMO/Impella - Rarely CABG/cardiac trauma consults • Other Info: - The elective CABG/valve consults can be dealt with by primary TCV after the weekend. - If the staff surgeons are on PTO then the locums will cover that period too; PTO dates to be identified. • Travel, lodging, and malpractice insurance covered Requirements: • HI License or IMLC • BC • ACLS • CSR/CDS • DEA • Health Immunization/vaccination (with dates) • Recent NPDB • CV in MM/YYYY format • Gaps of 30 days must have explanation provided
