and much more! What You’ll Do Nurtures residents, clients, and/or
members, ensuring the delivery of top-notch care under supervision
of designated departmental leadership and/or other medical
professionals as appropriate. AFC Workforce Center This position is
part of the Workforce Center, a dedicated team of employees who
provide flexible staffing support across multiple communities.
Workforce Center employees help ensure seamless coverage during
vacations, extended leaves, and staffing shortages. This role is
assignment-based and training will be provided. Work Schedule Full
Time (40 hours per week) Rotator - Evening and NOC Shift Pay Rate
$23.65 - 27.00 Hourly Responsibilities Answers call lights to
determine residents’ or clients’ needs (Communities and Day Care
only). Assists residents, clients, or members with activities of
daily living (ADLs) such as: Bathing; Eating; which includes
set-up, serving and collecting food plates and utensils, Feeding
residents who require assistance; Dressing; Oral hygiene; and
Grooming as needed. Assistance with toileting and provides
appropriate peri care for incontinent residents, clients, or
members. Assists residents, clients, or members to turn,
reposition, and transfer, which may be performed by the CNA without
assistance, with a two person assistance, or by using a lift
machine in accordance with the care plan. Transports residents,
clients, or members with ambulation to and from their room to
appropriate areas for activities and meals. Takes and records the
resident’s, clients and/or members: ADLs Vitals (temperature, blood
pressure, pulse, weight, and respiration rates) Intake and output
of food and fluid Transfers (one or two person) and ambulation
status Mood/behaviors when resistant to care Pain level assessment
(if applicable) Issues supplies as needed. Provides companion
services according to care plan. Observes and reports to Licensed
Staff all changes in condition (including significant changes),
behavior or whereabouts that may require intervention. Monitors and
supervises residents, clients, and members as assigned. Records all
chargeable time provided by Arcadia Family of Companies (AFC).
Works in conjunction with the interdisciplinary team, licensed
staff, team members, and other departments to ensure resident
assessments are completed in accordance with corporate, federal,
and state Regulations and safety guidelines. (Communities) Adheres
to assigned work schedules and accurately uses the time and
attendance system, which may include using a computer, personal
cell phone, or client’s home phone. Participates in Continuous
Quality Improvement and/or Quality Assurance Programs. Interacts
with residents, clients, and members in accordance with AFCs’
mission, core values, mindsets and guideposts. Exercises caution
and good safety judgment in uncertain conditions or situations, and
report and/or correct hazards, potential or actual. Ensures that
all residents’, clients’, and members’ rights and privacy are
protected and enforced, and establishes and maintains a close
liaison with residents, clients, members’, and families. Attends
mandatory in-service programs. Complies with annual employee health
screening in accordance with policies and procedures. Participates
and assists during emergency drills and situations such as fire,
fire alarms, hurricanes, and other possible emergencies as outlined
in the Disaster Response Playbook and/or the AHHS disaster policy.
Exclusive Essential Functions for CNA reporting to Day Care Center
Actively participates in the programs and activities of the Center.
Serves and collects food plates and utensils and pre-rinses and
stores them properly for transfer to Arcadia. Changes bed linens
and washes and folds laundry. Becomes familiar with the
individualized service plan of assigned clients so as to carry out
the Program’s services, goals, and objectives. Monitors and
supervises specific clients or activities as assigned. Maintains
Center’s facilities and equipment. Facilitates and supports client
participation in planned activities at or away from the Center by
assistance with ambulation of clients. Engages in positive
interactions and promotes socialization during unscheduled periods.
Qualifications To perform this job successfully, an individual must
be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The

essential functions. Education/Experience High school diploma or
general education degree (GED) and a minimum of one (1) year of
experience as a Certified Nurse Aide. Certifications, Licenses, and
Registrations Current State of Hawaii Certified Nurse Aide
certificate. Current First Aid and CPR certificate. Computer Skills
Proficiency in using a computer, which may include using such
software as Vision or Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Outlook,
PowerPoint, Word) and other applicable software applications.
Physical Demands While performing the duties of this job, the
employee is regularly required to use hands to finger, handle, or
feel; reach with hands and arms; and talk or hear. The employee
frequently is required to stand, walk, sit, and taste or smell. The
employee is occasionally required to climb or balance and stoop,
kneel, crouch, or crawl; push and pull. The employee must
frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Specific vision
abilities required by this job include close vision, distance
vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and
ability to adjust focus. Work Environment While performing their
