SITE LOCATION: EMERGENCY DEPARTMENT (EMERGENCY DEPARTMENT) POSITION SUMMARY: The Emergency Department Physician Assistant (PA) or Nurse Practitioner (NP) provides routine and emergency medical care, under the supervision of a licensed physician. EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE: 1. Completion of an accredited Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner training program and NCPAA or AANP certification 2. Two to three years of post-graduate work experience in an Emergency Department 3. Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification 4. Hawaii State Board of Medical Examiners licensure 5. Controlled substance prescriptive authority An Equal Employment Opportunity / Affirmative Action Employer
